We've been notified of issues that affect the issuance of new and renewal Letsencrypt certificates on the Windows Hosting Control Panel - SolidCP.
After review of issue we noted that the latest version of SolidCP 1.4.3 is bundled with Letsencrypt v22.214.171.124320 - a version of Letsencrypt that has since been replaced and upgraded with numerous bug fixes.
During our investigation we found that the cause for the failure to deploy new and renewal certificates relates to a bug that was patched in 2016, which addresses support for IDN - https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/idn-support-enabled/21469
The problem has been reported to the SolidCP developers and we await a response to the matte and advise all clients who are affected by this issue to purchase a Sectigo Domain SSL Certificate
We wish to remind clients that Letsencrypt is provided as is, and we do not provide support for the free addon on.
Should SSL be a priority for your website, we encourage you to purchase a commercial ssl certificate from our store, which includes free installation + same day activation.
