Please note that all new SSL certificates purchased on or after 24 February 2026 are now issued with a maximum validity period of 199 days.
Once the 199-day validity period has expired, the SSL certificate will need to be reissued via your Client Service Area in order to maintain secure HTTPS functionality and avoid certificate expiration warnings.
There is no additional cost for reissuing the SSL certificate during the active annual subscription term. Customers may reissue certificates as required within the subscription period.
This change has been implemented by DigiCert as part of updated public TLS certificate lifecycle and security standards aimed at improving certificate security, automation, and compliance across the industry.
