A 550 Authentication is required for relay error is returned when you send an email from an external mail server to an email account hosted on our mail servers and have specified the mail from address to a mail account that is hosted on our mail servers (Spoofing).
Our mail servers require that you authenticate if you attempt to send a mail from a mailbox hosted on the same mail server that you are attempting to deliver an email to.
To resolve the issue, send from a valid externally hosted mail account if sending email to our mail servers. If the email originates from an application, change the application to send the mail from a valid external domain and set the reply to field as the email address hosted on our network.
