A Domain is still within grace period error occurs when you try initiate the transfer of your domain too soon after it has been registered.
For all co.za domains, org.za domains, net.za domains and web.za domains the Registration Grace Period is 5 days from the date of registration.
This means that you cannot transfer a .za domain within 5 days of the initial registration date and you need to wait for the grace period to expire before being able to transfer your domain.
Whilst you wait for the grace period to lapse, you can update the associated DNS Servers that your domain name makes use of to point your services to Absolute Hosting. Refer to the Service Activation Email for the service that you purchased for specific instructions on which DNS Servers to use.
There is one exception to this, and this applies to Domain Names registered with the CIPC. - they can be transferred within the 5 day grace period.
For TLD and gTLD domains such as .com domain names, the Registration Grace Period is 30 days from date of registration.
