If you have been directed to this page by support it means that your IP address has been externally blacklisted and access to our network restricted.

Absolute Hosting utilizes various external security services in an attempt to protect its network, and clients.

  • In the event that your IP address has been blocked then you will have limited or no access to services hosted on our network.
  • We do not whitelist IP addresses (On the principle that if your IP has been blacklisted, we are confident that it poses a significant risk to ourselves and our clients).
  • You must investigate the underlying issue which resulted in you being blacklisted on an external threat intelligence feed, and once identified mitigate and resolve.
  • We cannot help you with delisting, and we cannot help you with identifying the cause of the issue.

In most cases your IP may be blocked because it has been used as part of a botnet, or observed participating in an attack against other devices or honey pots.

This does not necessarily mean that you have been compromised as ISP's rotate IP addresses and you may have been assigned an IP which was previously used for nefarious purposes by another client / party.

If your ISP dynamically assigns IP's to you then contact them, report this issue and request another IP.

If your ISP assigns static IP's or you own your own IP space then you have bigger problems and you should start investigating your network for exploits and breaches.

Check you routers firmware and make sure that you are not running a vision which contains exploits. If in doubt speak to who ever supplied you the router, or contact the vendor and replace the router if you cannot patch it.
