How to create a TXT record for Google Domain Verification

Follow the below steps to create a TXT record for Google Domain Verification for your domain name. 

 

absolutehosting.co.za - solid_login

  • Click on Hosting Space Menu.

absolutehosting.co.za - Solid_hosting_space_menu

  • Click on Domains.
  • Click on the Domain Name you want to create the record for.

absolutehosting.co.za - solid_domains

  • Click on Edit DNS Zone Records.

absolutehosting.co.za - solid_edit_dns_zone

  • Click on Add Record.

absolutehosting.co.za - solid_add_record

  • Set the Record Type to TXT.
  • Enter the Record Name. (provided by Google)
  • Enter the Record Data. (provided by Google)

absolutehosting.co.za - solid_create_txt_record1

  • Click on Save.

When Google has found this new DNS record, they will mark you as the verified owner of the domain. 

Note: DNS changes may take between 1 and 24 hours to propagate. If Google does not find the record immediately they will check periodically for it.
